Renault is planning a new model for launch next year based on its Twingo concept vehicle. The small three-door concept features frameless windows and an integrated glasshouse where the windshield flows into the roof. Powering the Twingo concept is a small turbo-charged engine displacing 1.2L and develops 100hp.

It's billed as a concept, but this new upmarket GT cabriolet from Renault comes complete with Nissan 350Z power and rocket ship acceleration, and is almost certain to hit production.

Renault have set their sights on signing Kimi Raikkonen to replace world champion Fernando Alonso in 2007.
McLaren driver Raikkonen has been widely tipped to move to Ferrari, but Renault F1 president Alain Dassas said his team were also talking to the Finn.
"It's no secret, Raikkonen is our priority for the 2007 season," Dassas told Italy's Gazzetta dello Sport.
