Renderings of the next-generation Maserati coupe have turned up, ahead of the car’s reveal next week and its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
Like all sketches, of course, this one exaggerates the concept’s actual proportions. Though styling has been inspired by Maserati’s Quattroporte sedan, the Coupe will be getting a much more aggressive look and a unique rear-end. The car also grows in all dimensions over its predecessor and will spawn three new body-styles. Maserati will be building a 2+2 Coupé, a soft-top...

The 406 coupe is the right car to use for lots of reasons. The windscreen is the right size, the wheel base after our alterations is only 1 and a half inches longer than the genuine car .(longer results in a better look, as you don't have to distort the panels in any way). The dashboard of the car is very close to the genuine car and with our interior kit the door panels can easily be made to look like the 360 door panel.
The car can be lowered to the correct ride height without upsetting the steering geometry . This is achieved by bolting...

The project began in late 2005 when James purchased Ferrari's flagship Enzo supercar and immediately sent it to Pininfarina's design studio. Critical of the original styling, James requested that Pininfarina rebody his car drawing inspiration from Ferrari's 1960s prototypes of which he owns two magnificent examples. Pininfarina's team, led by Ken Okuyama, responded by saying that they wanted to stay away from retro design and move towards a more forward thinking supercar. No doubt, the two parties have come up with a clever balance.
To say...
