Lamborghini at the Paris Motor Show will present the new special edition Gallardo Nera — a limited-production version of the popular super coupe. Back in May, we told you about the Gallardo Privilegio, which appears to be the same vehicle. At the time, Lamborghini released details to dealers but not to the press. The Nera is something of a showcase of Lamborghini's personalization choices available to all Gallardo customers. The vehicle features a glossy black paint scheme with matte black inserts. Renault's drop-top rocket ship

It's billed as a concept, but this new upmarket GT cabriolet from Renault comes complete with Nissan 350Z power and rocket ship acceleration, and is almost certain to hit production.

The Renault Nepta concept car will be unveiled at the upcoming Paris Motor Show as a four-seater cabriolet, with a 313 kW direct injection version of the Nissan-Renault "family" 3.5-litre V6 which pushes it from rest to 100 km/h in a staggering 4.9 seconds.

Citroen unveils C-Metisse at the 2006 Paris Motor Show

The C-Metisse concept has a coupe-like body with four gullwing-style doors, and a diesel-electric hybrid powertrain which combines the PSA 208bhp 3.0 V6 HDI engine (with particulate filter) with a pair of electric motors and a six-speed automatic gearbox.

It's theoretically capable of 155mph, 0-60mph in 6.2 seconds, 45mpg and 174g/km, and could run in an electric-only zero emissions mode. The electric motors, powering the rear axle, can add up to 40bhp and 295lb ft of extra torque to that of the front-mounted petrol engine, as well as...
