The most prevalent changes have been made cosmetically to the front end, where Mercedes seeks to capitalize even further on its ties with Formula One – not only does Mercedes partner in the McLaren team, but the SLK itself can often be seen pulling duty as safety car at grands prix. The F1-style nose and front bumper are accompanied by new tail-lights out back and a refreshed interior with redesigned seats and a more subdued center console.
The updated SLK also benefits from a revised 3.5-liter V6 with an anticipated 10 extra horsepower...

The car was solely designed for the track and has no approval for on-road use but that hasn’t stopped 21 individuals paying the estimated €1 million price tag for the privilege of owning one of the hottest race cars on the planet.
The Mercedes McLaren SLR 722 GT has a top speed of 315 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds. Compared to the...

The goal of the Alpine team was to build a great-sounding show car that was sleek and sophisticated, yet with custom work that would make it one-of-a-kind. The striking shape of the RLS was created entirely by hand, using only the original roof from the R500.

Strip a CLK63 AMG built to serve as an F1 safety car of its decals and light bar, and you’ve pretty much got the street-legal, 500-horsepower, track-ready Black Series.
The new Black Series model can be easily identified by its carbon-fiber flared fenders that are filled with larger, staggered-width wheels and tires. New AMG forged aluminum wheels (9 x 19 front, 9.5 x 19 rear) are shod with Pirelli P Zero Corsa sports tires (265 / 30 R 19 front, 285 / 30 R 19 rear). Larger vented and perforated composite disc brakes can be seen through...

You’re looking at the future of transportation for politicians, royalty and high-powered executives everywhere. The armored S600 Guard Pullman is the latest Mercedes-Benz limousine to hit the driveways of posh estates worldwide, and it comes with a bevy of security and luxury features.
The main selling point, though, is security; the press release touts its ability to protect against terrorist attacks. We think that’s the first time we’ve ever read the word “terrorist” in a car press release. The armor has passed rigorous testing...

Body of the SLR convertible will be built using the same composite materials, so do expect the same rigidity and strength as well as the same...

The new Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 Edition that has been developed in close alliance with the British Formula 1 specialists McLaren is brimming with thoroughbred racing credentials.
For Mercedes-Benz, the name was an obvious choice for the new model variant which evokes memories of the unforgettable victory achieved in 1955 by the British motor-racing legend Stirling Moss and his co-pilot Dennis Jenkinson at Mille Miglia – the classic Italian endurance race – behind the wheel of a Mercedes Benz 300 SLR with start number 722 (denoting...

The new C-class resembles a scaled-down S-class, and a version of that car's dial-operated COMAND entertainment system will be available. European buyers will get 156- and 184-horsepower supercharged four-cylinders, named C180 Kompressor and C200 Kompressor, respectively. Three V-6 engines will be available: a 204-hp C230, a 231-hp C280, and a 272-hp C350. We expect only the two most powerful engines in the U.S. The latter is the same 3.5-liter found in the ML, E, SLK, and a number of other models. We also expect a detuned version of AMG's...
