A year after the unveiling of the GranTurismo, Maserati will be back at the Geneva International Motorshow with yet another world premiere, the GranTurismo S. The ultimate expression of the Trident coupé's sportiness shifts the emphasis onto performance and driving enjoyment.
Two main novelties are at the heart of the new Maserati: the 440 HP V8 4.7 engine and the electro-actuated gearbox with fast MC-Shift arranged in the Transaxle layout typical of high-performance sports cars that represents the technological DNA of all Maseratis....

Despite constant denials about the existence of a new small Ferrari from officials, images of a prototype being tested on a dyno have emerged. Rumored to be the successor to the original Dino, early reports suggest it will be launched by 2010, and to solve the problem of limited capacity at the Maranello plant, Ferrari will likely outsource production of the car to Maserati.
Camouflaged by the shell of a Maserati Gran Tursimo, the new small Ferrari is expected to share much in common with the car from Modena including a new folding metal...

The new coupe gets a modern take on the Buickesque three-hole side vents with a sharper more angular appearance. Muscular flared wheel arches house huge multispoke alloys featuring Masearti’s trademark trident logo. The new interior, which was also designed by...

Renderings of the next-generation Maserati coupe have turned up, ahead of the car’s reveal next week and its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
Like all sketches, of course, this one exaggerates the concept’s actual proportions. Though styling has been inspired by Maserati’s Quattroporte sedan, the Coupe will be getting a much more aggressive look and a unique rear-end. The car also grows in all dimensions over its predecessor and will spawn three new body-styles. Maserati will be building a 2+2 Coupé, a soft-top...

Three new cars are reportedly in development: a Quattroporte-based 2+2 to replace the GT coupe, a cloth-top Spyder to compete with the Mercedes SL-Class and a four-seater CC with retractable hardtop. No word on when the first of these will arrive.

They cost a lot to begin with – but what if you bump your dream machine? It’s going to hurt
You might lust after the head-turning lines of this Italian mean machine, but sully its pristine bumper and you may suddenly learn to appreciate your humble Ford.
The Murciélago’s front bumper is made of carbon fibre, and before a single minute of labour has been added a replacement will set you back £8,206 — about the cost of a nearly new Focus.
Being able to afford a bona-fide supercar, or even a top-end luxury car, is a lot more...
