US comedian and actor Eddie Griffin was was practising for a charity race to promote his new film Redline when he drove too fast around a curve at the Irwindale speedway in California and smashed into a concrete barrier.
The Enzo was owned by the film's executive producer, Daniel Sadek, whose exotic car collection was featured in the movie.
Sadek said the car was beyond repair and that he had "mixed feelings" about the wreck.

We’ve had plenty of smashed Ferrari Enzos but this is the first on records people have come across images of a wrecked Bugatti Veyron. It’s thought that a pool of water on the road caused the supercar to lose traction and then spin out of control.
Engineers reportedly wrecked two prototype examples during testing, which was part of the reason for the long delays during the vehicle’s development but this is the first time a private customer has actually crashed a Veyron.

Footage of television presenter Richard Hammond's high-speed smash in a jet-powered car that left him critically-injured will be shown on TV for the first time.
The BBC programme Top Gear co-presenter said he thought he was going to die after he lost control of a Vampire Dragster at 288mph and the car flipped over while he was filming a feature for the show on an RAF airfield near York last September.

Pictures of the high-speed crash involving Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond have been published for the first time since the accident.
The 36-year-old crashed a jet-powered dragster at 288mph while filming a stunt for the BBC TV show, at Elvington airfield in York last September.
The photos, which feature in Top Gear magazine, show a tyre bursting and the dragster skidding before flipping over.

A Lamborghini Murcielago that was involved in an accident with two other cars. The big bull was involved in a smash with three other cars and a bus and the ensuing chaos shut down part of Wolverhampton, a city in the West Midlands. The £190,000 Lambo smashed into a Rover 45 and Toyota Avensis. Nobody was seriously hurt, except the poor owner of the Lambo who’ll now have a lot of explaining to do with his insurance company.

The latest was not an Enzo... The story of this accident is interesting. The crash happened at the front of a well known hotel in Perth (Australia). The driver was at the hotel, drank too much and then decided to drive his Ferrari home, as he was taking off through the intersection he decided to show off in front of the ladies at the hotel and hey presto became an instant moron; he simply lost control of the back end of the Ferrari. You need to be very alert to drive the 360 hard, the fact that this guy was pissed off his head didn't leave him...

French police are investigating a car crash involving a billionaire Russian parliamentarian who was critically injured when his Ferrari Enzo slammed into a tree on the Mediterranean seafront in Nice.
