These are the first images of Maserati’s new GT Coupe, revealed ahead of the car’s official debut at next month’s Geneva Motor Show. The stunning lines were penned by Italian design studio Pininfarina, clearly taking inspiration from Maserati’s larger Quattroporte sedan.
The new coupe gets a modern take on the Buickesque three-hole side vents with a sharper more angular appearance. Muscular flared wheel arches house huge multispoke alloys featuring Masearti’s trademark trident logo. The new interior, which was also designed by...

Renderings of the next-generation Maserati coupe have turned up, ahead of the car’s reveal next week and its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
Like all sketches, of course, this one exaggerates the concept’s actual proportions. Though styling has been inspired by Maserati’s Quattroporte sedan, the Coupe will be getting a much more aggressive look and a unique rear-end. The car also grows in all dimensions over its predecessor and will spawn three new body-styles. Maserati will be building a 2+2 Coupé, a soft-top...

Nissan has released a design sketch of the 2008 Infiniti G35 Coupe. The G35 is a sleek, distinctive looking sport coupe. Stacked dual headlamps and turn signals reside under clear plastic bubbles nicely integrated into the nose. The roofline flows in a smooth arc from front to rear with nary a break.

Despite the funny name, Dutch company Donkervoort has been building some pretty serious sports cars, and their latest model is just about to be revealed. They’ve been working on a fixed-roof version of the D8 roadster by adding a carbon fibre roof and wing mirrors. The D8 also has a roll-cage, and the GT version will be only 20kg heavier than the roadster. It’s powered by Audi’s 1.8T 20V engine that develops between 180 and 270hp. Only 50 will be built every year, ensuring exclusivity and the D8 will be formally shown at the Geneva Motor...

A day after the official presentation of the second generation Smart Fortwo and they've already released the first promo video of the car.
SMART is also fitting the new fortwo with a "stop & go" system that cuts the engine at red lights much like a hybrid. Safety will be a big priority as well, with each fortwo stocked with front airbargs, ABS and ESP.

Smart will get an American "green card" in early 2008.
Boeblingen-based Smart, part of DaimlerChrysler AG’s Mercedes Car Group, has signed a general distributor agreement with United Auto Group chairman Roger Penske to market the two-seat Smart ForTwo in the United States.
Smart president Ulrich Walker said: "This is absolutely the right car in the right place at the right time. It embodies the unique combination of a lifestyle and design-orientated vehicle that is ecologically appealing."
The agreement covers all aspects of the...
