After several months of spy shots and speculations, Alfa Romeo has finally taken the wraps off of its all-new Mi.To. The Mi.To — which is short for Milan and Turin — was rumored to be called either the Junior or Furiosa, but those two names obviously lost out to the official nameplate.

The Mi.To is the first new release from Alfa Rome since the 8C Competizione, and the two-door hatch largely follows the styling cues of its sports car big brother.

Ferrari test-mule Dino on a dyno

Despite constant denials about the existence of a new small Ferrari from officials, images of a prototype being tested on a dyno have emerged. Rumored to be the successor to the original Dino, early reports suggest it will be launched by 2010, and to solve the problem of limited capacity at the Maranello plant, Ferrari will likely outsource production of the car to Maserati.

Camouflaged by the shell of a Maserati Gran Tursimo, the new small Ferrari is expected to share much in common with the car from Modena including a new folding metal...

Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione Limited to 500 Units

This latest Alfa will be produced in a limited edition of 500.
The 8C, designed by Alfa Romeo, will feature a 4.7-liter Maserati V8 engine, producing 450 horsepower at 7,000 rpm, with 347 pound-feet of torque at 4,750 rpm. The car will ride on 20" wheels and feature a limited-slip differential. The transmission is a six-speed dual-clutch.

Alfa Romeo may pave U.S. return with high dollar cars

Alfa Romeo is coming back to the United States in late 2008 with big-sticker cars.

The Italian brand wants the $200,000-plus sports cars to pave the way for a 2010 or 2011 introduction of three volume models.

"We have a team working on the Alfa Romeo comeback to the U.S., and we will make an announcement at the Paris auto show" in September, says Sergio Marchionne, CEO of Alfa's parent, Fiat Auto S.p.A.
