Indoor Speed Record With Toyota's F1 Car
With the help of BBC TopGear the Toyota Formula One team have set a new indoor speed record. Using the London Excel building, home to the 2006 London motorshow, they drove one of last years Toyota's down the length of the Excel setting a new indoor speed record.
The car was driven by 'The Stig', an unnamed racing driver, who first tested the surface in their Chevrolet Lacetti setting a top speed of 70 mph. Then the Toyota Formula One took centre stage, burning up its rear wheels as it left the line.
