Peugeot Unveils Race Livery for 908 HDI

Peugeot's return to Le Mans and endurance racing might be a little more complicated than black-and-white, but the team's livery will not, following the release of images of the 908 HDi FAP in all its 2007 glory.

The French team will field two cars at La Sarthe in June and in the six race Le Mans Series as it makes a return to the sportscar scene, with Peugeot looking to follow Audi in using diesel power to achieve success in arguably the biggest race of them all.

Peugeot announced its six drivers back in January, with the exact line-up for the debut campaign with the 908 being revealed last month.

After a series of test sessions with the new car and a physical training course in the Pyrenees, the team confirmed that Pedro Lamy and Stephane Sarrazin will drive one of the two cars in the Le Mans Series while Marc Gene will partner Nicolas Minassian in the sister machine.

For the Le Mans 24 Hours, Champ Car title holder Sebastien Bourdais will join Lamy and Sarrazin, while former F1 champion Jacques Villeneuve partners Gene and Minassian.
