Aston Martin Vanquish S Ultimate Edition
Aston Martin has announced an exciting development for new customers of the company's flagship Vanquish S.
The model represents a luxurious and unique limited edition befitting the Vanquish S's status as the ultimate Aston Martin and also celebrates the skilled craftsmanship of the team working at Newport Pagnell.
Just 40 examples of a new Vanquish S Ultimate Edition will be handcrafted at the company's Newport Pagnell production facility in Buckinghamshire.
Vanquish S Ultimate Edition cars come with special leather upholstery, black interior trim, a personalised sill plate and the option of 'ultimate black' paintwork, but the 520bhp V12 engine and 200mph top speed are unchanged. Prices also match the standard S at £182,095.
For £15,570, Aston Works will remove the Magneti Marelli six-speed paddlshift gearbox from your Vanquish and replace it with a conventional six-speed manual and a clutch pedal - a modification which may well be attractive to owners of the very earliest Vanquishes, where paddleshift 'boxes were known to cause reliability problems.
