2007 Melling Hellcat
Melling Hellcat is brand British supercar. It is being developed by Al Melling - world's leading freelance engine designer and his team. Everything started seven years ago and now tere is a result - uncompromising supercar. Is it a Bugatti Veyron beater? Time will show, but Hellcat's specifications are trully incredible. This monster has V10, 6.0 l engine, designed by Al Melling, which produces 1200 hp at 7200rpm, 880 lb/ft at 5400rpm of torque and lets to accelerate 0-60 mph in 3 seconds!!. And this all for £185.000! Melling Hellcat is a mid-engined design with a complex four-wheel drive system. However, hellcat is aimed for buyers who simply want the fastet rodcar money can buy. So the Hellcat has no radio, no CD player, no air-con, not even heater. This because its rac-oriented interior puts a higher value on light weight than gadgetry. Al Melling also has plans two race Hellcat GT1 at Le Mans as well. If everything goes according to schedule, we will see this supercar on racetrack in 2008. Melling Sportscars plans to make 20 - 30 Hellcats annually and to deliver first cars for this Christmas.
